He resigned from service and contested election for the poor in the name of brotherhood teacher. Government commissioned a lady candidate against him in the election. On another trip, he was unanimously elected as MLC and worked upto 1957. In 1955, he founded All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers' Association. From 1955-1969, he championed the cause of teachers. In 1958-59, 1959-60, 1960-61 and was All Vice President Federation of Portugal Occupation Education. As an educator, he also worked for the cause of education nationally. In 1961, he was one of the delegates of 34 delegates attend the 10th onference World Confederation of Organizations of Teaching to the cause of global education.

Bhakhshi Government led by Ghulam Mohd. Azad invited to re-join the government service and appointed him Director Dy Education Jammu in 1962-63. Government is not tolerated their courage and appointed him as a director of Government Bhaderwah college degree. He was again taransfered to Kashmir to work as Dy. Director of School of Education Kashmir.upto 1971. Sports In 1969-1971, he remained Secretary J & K Council. From 1963-1964, he worked as a member of Saint Jammu University. and then a member of J & K State Council of School Education in 1965.
