What are some good topics for a persuasive speech for speech class in college?

I have to make a speech persausive in a few weeks and not may decide to do it. I want a topic that is interesting and original. Any suggestions?

Pick something that is important to you. Something you yourself are extremely satisfied. If you're not convinced, then there will be a good speech. Give a speech about one of his convictions, maybe! Something you believe in. Just make sure it is something you believe in will make the speech more persuasive. I can tell you this from experience. I competed in speech contests for the past two years, where I had to give a persuasive speech. One year I won, and another year I did three. I made speeches about things I was convinced! Lol, was one about why parents should help young people buy their first car. Why did I do so well? Not because I put a lot of work for him, but because it was something that was very, very real to me at the time!
