How do I get into the Teaching of TX?

I have a BA in communications, and if I did not get into Grad program I applied, I'm looking for to move to TX near my husbands family. I'm trying to think of jobs that I can easily transition. I always liked teaching and I am really applicable speech therapy for MS, but this is an option, if I can not .. What is in the process to obtain a teaching certificate. I have some friends here in Miami with a BA were able to begin to teach, how it works, and much more .. how it works for TX? Thanks in advance.

Certification Emergency has three things in its path. 1, you should be in a program to be certified, the site may have some TEA help to you about it, but most Colleges in TX to have it. 2, a test in the content area you want to teach (TEXES) (all levels, 12/08, 08/04, math science etc.) 3, a essay about their actions / reactions and stuff, most teachers find it not very practical … The course you get enrolled in courses review should have to audition, although my most recent experience with a teacher who was one left after the first day because wern't prepared for the Hispanic 40%, 30% black and 30% white / other population.
